Always be careful around blades as they are extremely sharp.
Ensure the collar bolt is tightened all the way.
Ensure your blades are tight.
Set the auger blade carriage onto the ice, and ensure your auger is plumb.
Get into drilling position.
Press the FWD trigger on the power head and let the auger do the work and shave through each layer of ice.
As you approach bottom, simply cradle the auger and allow it to cut through without downward pressure.
You can remove any remaining shavings from your hole by putting the auger in reverses to flush the hole.

All RAZR 40V Ultra Ice Augers come equipped with our fast cutting, durable Pro Curved Blades. Our Pro Curved Blades are equipped with a slightly serrated edge to help remove debris from the cutting edge while drilling.
