The RAZR Scout® Ice Auger is built tough for your brushless drill. Everything needed to attach this auger to your brushless drill is included in the box. Each RAZR Scout is equipped with our efficient, smooth cutting curved blades and a center point to keep you steady when drilling. Built for full season use in up to 36" of ice, the Scout also is adjustable from 31" to 43" in length to accommodate different angler height and varying ice thickness throughout a full ice fishing season. Available in size 4",5"6",7" and 8" drill sizes.

RAZR SCOUT®KIT

INCLUDES HAND AUGER HANDLE

The RAZR Scout® Kit - Our brushless drill auger kit that also comes with a hand auger handle is the perfect choice for anglers of all experience levels. This auger is equipped with a center point, so it can be powered with your brushless drill and will attach directly with the included drill adapter and extension. You can also power this auger by hand with the included In-Line Handle. The Handle is perfect for early ice, or for those who don't need or own a brushless drill. If you are using a brushless drill, you can adjust this auger from 31" to 43" in length to accommodate different angler height and varying ice thickness throughout a full ice fishing season. Available in 4", 5", 6", 7" and 8" drill sizes.

To achieve maximum performance from your RAZR Scout™, we suggest you pair with a drill that has the following features / specs:

18V or Higher Brushless Electric Drill
Minimum 5 Amp Hour
1/2” Chuck
Side Stabilizer / Handle
750 in-lbs Minimum Torque
550 RPM No Load RPM (Speed Setting #1)

Always be careful around blades as they are extremely sharp.
Ensure the collar bolt (not a wing nut) is tightened all the way.
Ensure your drill chuck is tightened all the way, and lock your chuck if possible. If you don't know how to lock your drill chuck, consult your owners manual of the drill.
Adjust the drill to "Drill Mode." You cannot operate the drill in a "screw" or "hammer" mode.
Adjust the speed to Speed Setting #1
Set the auger blade carriage onto the ice, and ensure your auger is plumb.
Get into drilling position.
Slowly increase pressure on the trigger of the drill, and let the auger do the work and shave through each layer of ice.
As you approach bottom, simply cradle the auger and allow it to cut through without downward pressure.
You can remove any remaining shavings from your hole by putting the auger in reverses to flush the hole.

All RAZR Scout Ice Augers come equipped with our fast cutting smooth Curved Blades.

An optional Pro Curved Blade can be purchased and used with The RAZR Scout Ice Auger in sizes 6", 7" or 8". Our Pro Curved Blades are equipped with a slightly serrated edge to help remove debris from the cutting edge while drilling.
